Managed by PADI Course Director, Technical Instructor Trainers and Padi Master Instructors, our staff are Padi Professional diver trainers and dive educators that can take you from a beginner diver levels to PADI Instructor and beyond. Prerequisites for Padi Instructor internship Courses:
To qualify for training as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, you must:
- Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or a PADI Assistant Instructor or be an instructor in good standing with another training organization for at least six months (check with our PADI Course Director or Contact PADI Directly for qualifying credentials.)
- Be certified as an Emergency First Response Instructor (We can make this part of your Internship)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be certified as a diver (from entry level) for at least six months
- Have 60 logged dives that include experience in night, deep and navigation diving to participate in the Instructor Development Course. You’ll need 100 logged dives to take the Instructor Exams
- Have proof of CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months. The Emergency First Response course meets this requirement
- Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement (PDF) signed by a physician/doctor within the last 12 months

This is for newly qualified Padi Instructors looking to gain extra dive experiences and the possibility to teach actual REAL students on REAL PADI Courses and conduct the NEW 2014 Padi Discover Scuba Diving Program under the direct supervision of an experienced Padi Instructor. This will put you way head of other freshly qualified Padi Instructors. This should take away any uncertainty in how you conduct and organise your Padi Courses in the future

If you are a beginner but have 6 months certified diving experience, you can be accepted to qualify as a PADI Instructor.

Our Cyprus Dive Centre has outstanding facilities, offering a number of training options with internship programmes lasting from 2 weeks up to 6 months. You have a minimum of 100 dives during your instructor training, although there is also an unlimited dive option. This just the minimum number of dives you will make, we are sure you will have lots more. We can provide you with all of your diving equipment, which you keep, as well as the materials and resources to learn all areas of becoming a PADI Instructor.
As a PADI Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI), you will be able to teach others to dive in a safe and enjoyable manner, passing your knowledge on to others who want to learn through training and experience.
You will not only be permitted to teach in confined water and open water spaces, but also conduct snorkelling experiences, for those eager to explore the underwater environment and its inhabitants. So what are PADI Instructor Internship.
